Yes. On full auto you are inaccurate and can shoot off your entire supply in a very few minutes. Plus it’ll burn out the barrel much faster. They shifted to 3 Rd burst control at some point.

My range had a Valentine's Day special. Dinner and full auto. My wife and I split a 50 round box to try out the Glock 18. I kept my rounds on the paper, but was quite surprised that in addition to recoil, the rifled barrel causes a muzzle rise and twist to the upper right. My wife did just fine as well. Kept most of her rounds on the paper too.

Having experienced firing the Glock 18, I really wouldn't own one. A good semi-auto pistol in 9mm/10mm/45Auto is satisfactory for personal defense.
