Donald Trump just clinched it with a couple of comments which have been reported since tonight's townhall.
"It's not Me, It's Us."
This struck me like a hammer. BOOM ! It's a winning campaign theme which 1) deflates the narcissistic meme and 2) pulls everyone in who smells the rat, realizing that DjT is truly on our side.
"I'll only be a dictator on Day 1"
In other words: the insanity stops now !

If challengers RDS, Haley, etc, and Americans can’t join the fight, it will be to their demise.
If they think they can unseat Trump, who is fighting like hell for us, they’re fools.

...strikes a beautiful chord.
He needs an obvious successor esp since DeSantis is clearly not it.
It would help protect him fr harm and aid in rallying others.
It’s a little insane this person is not obvious at this point.
Absolutely nothing that I know of has been done to end the election fraud of 2020 or 2022. Just about every single mechanism I know of that enables vote fraud remains in place.
This message has flittered about for a month or more, but he concisely said it all with :
“It’s not Me, It’s Us.”
From what I could discern and see, the phrase naturally fell out of his mouth during the townhall.

Wrong. It isn’t him. It’s you. Trump’s goal should be to serve YOU! There is no “us” with Ron DeSantis, the greatest governor in America.
Ron De Santis has promised to serve YOU, which is unique and very refreshing in this world full of preening, narcissistic, camera hungry, attention starved, failed politicians.
You are absolutely correct. And nobody knows this better than Trump. He knows how this movie is going to end and I doubt it will involve a 2024 election.

De Santis owes nothing to the senile idiot who repeatedly calls him names like Sanctimonious and lies about him being a RINO and obsessively rage tweets about him into the wee hours.
Trump already has his little stooge to cry about J6 and pledge allegiance to Trump and the hubris for which he stands lol. His name is Vivek and his 15 minutes ended 2 months ago.
