Former President Donald Trump refused in a prime time town hall to rule out abusing power to go after his critics – saying he he wouldn't do it 'except for Day One' – when given multiple opportunities to forswear plans for vengeance or a power grab.
'To be clear, do you in any way have any plans whatsoever if reelected president to abuse power, to break the law to use the government to go after people,' Hannity asked him.
'You mean like they’re using right now?' Trump responded, without answering the question directly. (other subjects) You are promising America tonight you would never abuse power as retribution?' Hannity asked the former president, who is leading President Joe Biden in a series of polls.
'Except for Day One,' Trump answered.
'Meaning?' Hannity asked him.
'I want to close the border and I want to drill, drill, drill.'

For those who watched the townhall, Trump did not say he was going after his enemies. There was an edit after the first time hannity asked the question, so it appears Trump didn't answer, and hannity changed the subject.
Then, later when hannity brings the subject back up, after Trump says his comments after 'we're closing the border, and we're drilling, drilling, drilling, after that, I'm not a dictator',
hannity says 'that's sounds to me you're going back to the policies when you were president'.... then goes to a break...
Dailymail then adds this line:
A Biden-Harris account tweeted out the clip, appending the line, 'Trump: I will be a dictator on day one.'
to the story, changing the spin of what happened.

It will take some circumventing of law...as if that mattered since Marxist Democrats have used the Constitution for toilet paper. The invaders must be rounded up and shoved back across a secured border. Borders shut down for the duration until this Biden-Obama mess is sorted out and order is maintained.
