Joe Rogan: Democrats Have “No Cards To Play” For 2024, Except Imprisoning Trump

Podcast king Joe Rogan noted earlier this week that he believes there is no strategy for 2024 on the part of Democrats, and the only play they have is to imprison Donald Trump.

“I think at this point they kind of have to run [Biden] unless he dies,” Rogan asserted, adding “We have one year now, we’re in late November, we have less than one year. What are they going to do? If Biden died tomorrow, what do they do with Kamala Harris? Put her on the moon? What are they going to do, she’s the vice president. If he dies, she becomes the president, which is fucking wild when you hear that lady talk.”

Rogan further noted that throwing someone like California Governor Gavin Newsom in as the nominee in place of Harris would expose how lacking in direction the party has been.

“I think they have no cards and they’re looking at this game and I think they’re depending upon party loyalty and they’re depending upon Trump getting convicted and arrested and imprisoned,” Rogan contiuned.

“I don’t know if that’s going to happen. I don’t think it is. It just seems like it’s a bunch of trumped-up charges, no pun intended,” he added.

“It does make sense if you want to look at banana republic tactics, when you’re imprisoning and trying to convict your political opponents,” Rogan further stated, adding “The problem with that is, even if you think Donald Trump is a crook and should be arrested, this sets a precedent for future presidents.”

“What if someone further right than him steps in? What if a war breaks out? What if things get even crazier? What if nationalism really upticks? Then you have someone who is now in power that is far right, like happened all over the world. If that happens and that precedent has been set for prosecuting your political opponents and going after them with trumped-up charges, that is a horrible situation,” Rogan warned.

“That is one of the reasons why we have to stick with the rule of law, the way this country was founded on. These principles were set up because they wanted to mitigate corruption at its base level, they wanted to stretch it out so no one could be an authoritarian dictator and run America,” the host concluded.

I don’t think the Democrats can afford to lose in 2024. They’ve done too much bad stuff.
And I think their campaign season is going to look like an absolute crapfest. No one will like them except isolated pockets on the coasts.
But I think Joe might find 100 million ballots.

The big question will be: “What happens next? They’ve spent 4 years showing us that the courts are of no use. And J6 showed us that marching with signs is of no use.

If the Democrats “win” when it is obvious to everyone that they lost, how will the country react?

We are kinda in the death throes of the Republic. Either the psychopaths running this country look at their kids and grand kids and want them to grow up free or they condemn them to death. The sad fact is many of them are raping their own children. They are truly evil... Only question is are there enough good people left in the matrix. I don’t know the answer to that yet... soon we all will. Michelle Obama is a man and now that I looked into it... so is Chuck Schumer’s “wife”... we are truly dealing with the most evil people in the country running our country... buckle up... We are about to find out if there are enough cowboys to save this rodeo.

...precedent has been set for prosecuting your political opponents and going after them with trumped-up charges, that is a horrible situation

I'm not really a Joe Rogan fan but he's spot on here. This political prosecution of Trump has opened a hole in the dam that we shouldn't have breached and I predict it will be seen as the day our republic died. The republic has survived as long as it has by the rule of law and the principle that even though you may hate your political opponent you don't use the legal system to go after them once you're in power.

Every president since the country was founded has done things that are illegal under some law or another, that's the nature of the job and cannot be avoided. God knows Clinton and Obama did plenty that they could have been prosecuted for but until now every incoming administration has acknowledged that it's not in anyone's best interest to try and jail your predecessor to further your political agenda. Once the gentlemen's agreement not to prosecute your political opponent just because you can goes away then it's a quick descent into banana republic style politics. That's where we are now.

Now the precedent has been set that if you're an incoming democratic president all you need to do is have a couple of inner city DA's file charges against your enemy. We all know that just about any African-American inner city DA would gladly empanel a grand jury from their district and indict Jesus Christ if he was a republican, there are very few that wouldn't jump at the chance. If it wasn't New York or Atlanta they've got multiple places that would love to go after Trump for them. Memphis, Jackson MS, Birmingham, etc. The list is endless of DA's that would gladly indict Trump on the silliest of charges. All you have to do as an incoming president is sit back and hide behind the mantra of "I have to let the law take it's course".

I have to conclude that the democrats feel they've got such a lock on the electoral system that they'll never lose the presidency again. Since they've now opened the floodgates of political persecution on bogus charges they have to know that they've opened themselves to being targeted if they're ever out of power. All I can conclude is that they never see themselves being out of power again.
