It was very nice of her. She’s tried to get me to join the group but most of their get-togethers are early in the day.
This was their Christmas dinner. They had turkey and dressing, green beans, cranberry salad, a roll, and a variety of cake slices to choose from. I only ate the cranberry salad, roll, and a piece of cake because I don’t eat meat. The green beans were cooked with ham. *sigh*
I had some leftovers from last night and heated some up when I got home.
I didn’t get much rain last night but there’s more coming through in the morning. They SAY we could get a half inch to an inch out of this one and I hope they’re right.
Sounds very yummy to me! I’m glad they had plenty of stuff that you could eat. Was it choklit cake? I’m hungry for choklit cake.
Ooooo....fingers crossed that they are right about the rain for a change. We’re beginning to dry out quite a bit, too. I’m ready for more. It’s easy to get spoiled!
