Never bet against the stupid party being stupid. Oh noes Santos is a liar just like almost every other member of Congress.
Don’t vote for R’s vote to keep D’s out of power! And voting for 3rd parties is a vote to put D’s in power. It’s an ineffective use of your vote.
I rarely ever vote for anyone R. I vote to keep D’s out of power! Look what happens when you give them power.
R’s may flounder around like idiots, but they usually are NOT actively trying to impose a tyrannical state!
A D always gets a pass. Most likely he was going to be primaried out anyway.
The only reason this happened is bc Santos flipped a Dem seat. Then their knives came out.
There is no chance of that happening. The same establishment Republicans that booted Santos will never vote to kick out Bowman.

This guy should have never ever been in congress, if the press had just remotely done its job, or the GOP vetters done theirs this guy would have never ever been elected.
I go absolutely no problem throwing him out. I can understand the wait for the conviction to do so argument, but its clear this guys a slimeball... don’t need a criminal conviction to know he’s liked and cheated repeatedly... find tossing him out.

The real tragedy here is not that Santos was expelled. The real tragedy is that the same punishment is not being applied to shifty Democrats as well.

Why hasn’t an impeachment proceeding started against Joe Biden?
Those are rhetorical questions. We all know the answer. It’s because the GOP is weak and pathetic.

They could have easily assigned him no committees, and cut off his cash and not associated with him. They could have found the legalities to recall him or simply loudly supported a primary challenger as you said.
But the stupid party handed the seat to the dems.
