Seven people โ including one minor โ were busted as pro-Palestinian protesters descended on the streets surrounding the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting, clashing with cops trying to keep the demonstration under control, police said Thursday.
The adults arrested range in age from 20 to 54 and live around New York and in New Jersey, according to police.
One person was charged with a felony, five people were hit with misdemeanor raps and one juvenile was cuffed as the enormous crowd gathered along Sixth Avenue where hordes of tourists were waiting in line to see the iconic ceremony on Wednesday night.
Molaz Alhomsi, 34, of Palisades Park, NJ, was slapped with a felony criminal mischief charge for intentionally damaging another personโs cell phone that cost $1,100 during the fracas, cops said.

A lovely display of diversity

Ain't diversity grand.

Democrats have lost control of their monster. Democrats who organize these protests never would have let some carry a swastika.
Seven?! They should ALL be arrested, for disturbing the Peace! It was an assault on America and her Traditions. These outrages must be met by opposition in kind. Islam must go. It has no place in Judeo-Christian-Christian Civilization.
They been released yet?
To be fair to Nazis, they had enough shame to hide their genocidal Jew killing.
Soon, real soon!
The US press. Again those stinking liars telling readers these unpronounceable last-name bastards are “from” all these U.S. cities and towns, where they found some shithole apartment to squat in. Like their families have been living there for ten generations and they are dyed-in-the-wool flag-waving New Jerseyites. Instead of being honest and factual with readers, by stating these vile war mongering thugs are actually migrants or illegals from “X country”, and then filling in all of the damned blanks, no, they’ve gotta just revel in being the lying pieces of stinking scrod that they are.
So the lighting of the Rockerfeller Tree is sort of a big deal. Were those at that event intimidated by the pro-Palestinian protesters? Seems like a weird backdrop of protesters and a Christmas celebration.
I believe he feels the creepy hatred behind his back as he walks through the halls where his Dem pals are whispering against Jews. A tingling feeling on his skin.
I am reminded of my library work days with around 90% always Dems. Around Martin Luther King Day I would hear them quietly complaining in small groups “How come he gets a day? He doesn’t deserve one.” then going to rallies and speeches for the Dems and voting Dem again.
I went to the annual MLK Day all day events (speeches and small group sessions on topics after the Black National Anthem) for 20 years. Almost no other whites attended, declining from 50-50 the first years. Sometimes the speakers noticed that decline. The MLK Day complainers weren’t present.
The problem with cultural diversity is sort of like bringing in non-native plants and or non-native animals that will outgrow, dominate and eliminate the thriving ecosystem of an area.
At the Ypsilanti, Michigan tree lighting and free party with refreshments the whole celebration was disrupted by the shouting anti-Israel marchers (hundreds) “at times making a children’s choir largely inaudible.” Newsweek.

RE: NY protest.....carried swastika
When I was young I read history books about the war against the Third Reich.
I thought how fortunate Jewish kids were that they were born after that terrible period and how in the US they would never have to see swastikas carried in the streets.
I was totally wrong.
