U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday stepped up calls for Israel to comply with international law and spare civilians as it wages its war against Hamas in Gaza.
On his third trip to the Middle East since the war began on Oct. 7, Blinken said the U.S. remains committed to supporting Israel’s right to self defense. But he also said it is imperative that Israel protect civilians if it starts major military operations in southern Gaza.
His message aligns with the Biden administration’s shifting rhetoric on the war, which began as a full-throated embrace of Israel’s response to the Hamas attacks but gradually tempered as the number of Palestinian civilian casualties began to rise dramatically.

International law for thee, but not for Hammie...
If it is not a country fighting the war, then it is not a war. If it is going to be considered a war, then the civilians in the country are being repreented by hamas and if the civilians don’t want the harm, then they have to be reactive to the way hamas is not only representing them but is using them as shields and they aren’t doing anything to stop it.
They elected hamas into power in 2008 and have made no action to change that so they reap what they sow. So before Binkey determines the way to protect these civilians, he must first idetify who they are. And they are being treated just like the enemy and still do nothing to stop it. So are they the enemy when they do nothing to change it from what they determined it would be? And what did they expect when they elected a group who’s main purpose in life is to destroy an entire nation because of religious beliefs? We have other names for them and they all add up to terrorist or satanist.

Yes! Hamas first!
Blinken needs to be smacked upside the head with a rotten mullet.
Note to Hamas: Don’t poke the bear. You probably won’t like the end result.
Hey Blinken, why don’t you take that advice to the family of the 10 month old baby MURDERED by HAMAS? I dare you to tell them that to their faces.
Hamas set the rules. Time for Israel to play by them.
FU Blinken!!
F you Blinken. Go pedal your garbage to Ham-ass.
Hamas lies about civilian casualties, and Da Squad ordered Brandon to believe those lies without proof, and he does, and Blinky follows suit.
Ya , but he’s a Blinken Idiot
Let fact check this political operative shall we.
The IDF and the Intelligence services telephoned the residents of Gaza days/weeks ahead of the attack to get out before the attacks begin.
The IDF and the Intelligence service dropped leaflets days/weeks before the attack to get out before the attacks began.
The IDF had to open corridors for the Gaza citizens to escape through because their ruling government authorities (Hamas) would not let them leave, and were shooting any of the Gaza’s that tried to leave.
Hamas, (the governing authority in Gaza) broke the cease fire agreement and attacked the IDF.
Based on the above evidence, I’d say that Israel has gone above and beyond to prevent “civilian” casualties.
I’d say to Mr Blinkin that he needs to either encourage Israel to finish the job as quickly as possible, or he needs to keep his nose out of their business.
(Does anyone else think of Robin Hood, Men in Tights when his name is mentioned?
Hey Blinker, there are only 2 rules to war:
Rule #1 = people die
Rule #2 = only God can change Rule #1
The civilians are Hamas.
I am just wondering if the US would be in compliance with international law when they dropped 2 nuclear bombs on Japan?
Yes, and that is the biggest reason aid should be cut off.
Welfare client is wrong,if you are singling out Israel.
Good.
Blinken, along with Pedo, can go blinken themselves.
How about bombing them until there are none left?
Today the news will say:
Blinken urges Hamas to comply with international law and spare civilians in war against Israel
