Our foreign policy from the late 60s to today has been so stable with his advice. Building China up into an economic behemoth has been a wonderful success.

He and Nixon managed to succeed in securing South Vietnam from the communists. It was undone by the takeover of Congress by the left wing of the Democrat party after the 1974 midterms. The Watergate Congress doomed South Vietnam (on purpose) by cutting off military assistance.
