Former President Donald Trump professed to be honored to have the support of Black Lives Matter on Truth Social Wednesday after a co-founder of the organization’s Rhode Island chapter endorsed him on Fox & Friends on Tuesday.
In his post, Trump praised Mark Fisher as a “great guy” and suggested that he had done more for Black people “than any other President” with the possible exception of Abraham Lincoln.
“Spoke with Mark Fisher yesterday, a great guy, very honored to have his and BLM’s support,” declared Trump. “I have done more for Black people than any other President (Lincoln?), including 10 year funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, where they had none, Opportunity Zones, Criminal Justice Reform, and much more. Thank you to Mark!”
During his TV appearance, Fisher blasted the Democratic Party for its “duplicity” on racial issues and argued that Trump’s critics had not “educated” themselves.
“Personally, I love the man,” said Fisher.
Black Lives Matter has oftentimes been criticized by other Republicans, who have accused the group of inflaming racial tensions, lying about law enforcement, and inspiring a number of violent riots in the months that followed George Floyd’s murder during the last year of Trump’s presidency.
In June 2020, Trump himself attacked the group, calling a plan to paint a “Black Lives Matter” sign in New York City a “symbol of hate” that would “further antagonize” police.
In an interview with Fox News later that year, Trump called the group “discriminatory” and mused that “it’s bad for Black people, it’s bad for everybody.”
Mark Esper, who served as Secretary of Defense in Trump’s administration, alleged in his book that the former president suggested that authorities shoot protesters amassed outside of the White House during the summer of 2020.

I am very confused. On the BLM website it states they are against the nuclear family, yet Mark Fisher says that democrat policies actually strike at the heart of the Black family and the nuclear family.
Which is it?
Notice how they are studiously avoiding this thread?
Politics is all about situational ethics.
Trump always fantasies about getting majority black support and yet at election time he gets screwed.
This fantasy is the reason he pushed for the criminal justice reform
bill along with Kushner.
Little does he realise that Black women hate him and are loyal democrats to the core and black men who have been released are too lazy to bother to vote and their mail in absentee ballots already filled in by community organizers.
I mean he bitch tweeted “LaW AnD OrDeR!1!1! while American cities were burned.
By none other than BLM.
So it makes perfect sense that he is “honored” to be endorsed by them.
Are any of you Trumplettes at least a little embarrassed?
Oh wait, it’s their God king.
Nothing ever embarrasses them.
Ron isn’t going to get the nomination.
I mean, Trump's just more of the same, right?
And Trump will never, ever set foot in the Oval Office again
This guy was from a different BLM.
Black Labs Matter, a pro Black Labrador Retriever group.
He may not. Ron won’t either because he’ll never be nominated to the office.
Truly, all it takes is to kiss Trumps ass and you too can have a glowing Troof Social screed written about you.
Hillary Clinton is cackling somewhere.
One Hamas leader says something nice about him and he’ll be chanting “From the River to the Sea…”
Hamas, BLM, Antifa.
Same pinkos, different names.
This definitely is not the same Trump who ran in 2016..It had become a running joke in DC that all you had to do was to tell Trump that he was great and had a great personality and he would sign any bill you shoved in front of him. If Charles Manson was still alive and paid a compliment to him, Trump would likely have pardoned him.
BLM is now saying this Fischer dude is not affiliated with them in any way.
Trump got trolled

I wonder how pleased Trump will be when Antifa endorses him
(double troll!)
Trump ain't fooling nobody. Well, maybe himself.
Thinking you have the support of BLM on the basis of some nobody in Rhode Island?
Delusional.
Yes.
That does it! I am voting the Nikki Haley/Chris Christie ticket. /s
