The vote passed with a razor-thin majority of 291 votes in favour to 274 against, with 44 abstentions.
The main proposed changes include the abolition of the principle of unanimity in a total of 65 areas of law, as well as transferring competencies from the member states to the European Union.
These include the transfer of inclusive competency on the matters of environmental protection and biodiversity, meaning that law pertaining to those matters would be entirely set at the European level.
In addition, the shared competencies would be expanded to seven new areas, those being foreign and security policy, border protection, public health, civil defence, industry, and education.
Elsewhere, the European Commission would be reduced from its current size of 27 people down to 15, meaning that not every member state would have its own commissioner.
Other stipulations would include the mandatory adoption of the Euro for all member states. Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Sweden use other currencies.
In addition, the bill foresees a simplification of the procedure for suspending the rights of member states which violate “European Union values”.
With the bill having passed through the European Parliament, the Spanish Presidency of the European Council has agreed to table the proposals at the next European Council meeting, which is set to take place in December.

You are looking at it the wrong way.
They do not care about the economy, they just want to boss people around.

The Ukranian military channel guys say that NATO has a new rule that they don’t have to consult with these pesky individual countries anymore to move troops around the EU.

The next step on the road to abolition of members’ autonomy and identity. Sooner, not later, they will all be reduced to status of ‘region’, or ‘state’ perhaps.

The EU is anticipating a voter revolt (as in Italy and Netherlands) and is taking steps to make voters irrelevant.
In the name of Democracy.

This is a non-binding vote in the EU Parliament. It’s very unlikely to get through the EU Council, which is the real decision-making body, and on which each member state has a veto.Changes of this scale, if they ever happened, would probably need a new Treaty.

Russia is probably VERY HAPPY that the Neocons started the Ukraine War as it’s giving them the justification to upgrade their military from 900,000 to 1.5 million soldiers, which is the force they’ll need to defend themselves against what has, apparently, become the 4th Reich.
Did you bring enough to share what you're smoking?
Russia is happy the neocons started the Ukraine "special operation"... by forcing Russia to invade Ukraine? (Note, you'd better be careful calling it the Ukraine "War", I doubt your supervisor will like that!)
And what's the "4th Reich" you mention? You mean the crappy attempts by the EU to force most of Europe into being a single country? I thought the "Nazis" were all up in Ukraine, and that's the whole reason why Russia *had* to invade? And aren't they winning, so that means they're beating the 4th Reich? Or is the 4th Reich these US, and our CIA manipulating everything?

“Did you bring enough to share what you’re smoking?”
Good point, it’s 2 million for the Russian Army. Sounds like the Neocons better start digging deep, as Russia may well become an OFFENSIVE threat to NATO.
