Climate alarmists at Vox urge humanity to stop burning fossil fuels because “the window to act on climate change is closing.”
Sparing no hyperbolic flourish, climate writer Umair Irfan asserts that 2023 has been a year of “extraordinary drought, deadly rainfall, and searing heat waves” thanks to global warming.
The year 2023 is on track to be “the hottest year measured in human history,” Irfan adds, meaning of course since 1880, when any sort of reliable temperature tracking records began.
This year may also “mark the first time global average temperatures have risen above a critical line, providing a glimpse into a world where humanity fails to get climate change under control,” the article ominously cautions.

I’ve read the “warnings” (LOLZ) but I’ve never seen even a theoretical account of what, exactly, is special about 1,2,3, or 5 degrees of change that would engender catastrophe.
Anybody else?
If all the private jets parked at Davos and international climate change conferences kept out of the air the planet could survive another million years!

Funny how the fact that CO2 is at one of its LOWEST levels for at least 200 million years, temperatures some of those tomes have been much higher than those at present (those were the boom times of life expansion), and CO2 levels were much much higher during the ice age periods than they are now. Of course, I would expect climate “researchers” to explain this, but given the STEM illiteracy of our media, well, garbage in, garbage out.

We know that it is a just a scam for money and power as most governments are in on it. To borrow a recent phrase from Cankles it “would take a willing suspension of disbelief” to believe our solar system, Galaxy and Universe are static like these idiots claim. Just a hundred great-grandmothers ago (about 10,000 years) the final forming of the Great Lakes from the melting of the Laurentide ice sheet was taking place.
This global warming, low-IQ belief is what happens when very basic astronomy, geology etc. is not taught young students like I was 50 years ago, the basics have not changed.
Having a Ph.D. behind does not make someone look smart, it makes them a total dumbass when they pen something like this. (rant over)
