The weather report just ended and it looks like our area has the best chance at rain tomorrow but it will be scattered showers. Maybe one or two will scatter over here.
You do need it to snow tonight to cover the wet from today’s rain. There’s something falling now and it looks like the rain could be starting to change over to snow, based on the way it’s falling. Keep those spikies handy anyway. :-)
How's everyone doing this morning?
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Nice of the rain to hold off sop you and Gizmo could get out for a romp yesterday. Looks like it was a bit soggy overnight. I imagine your new heater is about to get a workout the next couple of days or so.
Howdy, luvie.
I didn’t expect to see you tonight. I figured you’d be off in Dreamland after your long trip home.
Kitties happy to have Momma home?
Yep, I think so. They’re forecasting 23 tomorrow night here in Southern Oklahoma.
Hey there, radu!
I crashed and burned about 30 minutes after getting to the house, and when I woke up I felt just well enough to eat the choklit milkshake hubby brought me and to watch a couple of shows before head out again. Peaches was very happy to see me as was Ginger, and all my outside kitties are present and accounted for and came to greet us.
Shockingly, I drove the whole way home. It was cool and cloudy and all the roadwork machinery was idled because of the weekend, so it was very smooth. No sun in my eyes, very little wind and until we got within 100 miles of this place, really pretty scenery.\
Hope you have been having a good weekend. Must seem dull after all those great museum weekends!
BRRRR! And I’m a day behind you with that mess.
My gas bill showed up today and OUCH! Granted, the last time they filled my tank was early last spring and I used heat for a short time afterwards. And I’ve used it for a little while this fall. Still gonna hurt when I write the check. Propane has gotten expensive.
Good you felt well enough to drink that choklit shake. It would be sacrilege to waste it! LOL
I wondered if you’d have the energy to drive the whole way. I knew the sun wouldn’t be a problem for you when I checked and saw all the clouds over TX this afternoon. It’s a shame you didn’t get some rain but at the same time, it’s good because that would have made driving a pain.
Happy to hear the outside kitties were all there. I imagine Peaches was glued to your side when you went to bed. LOL
It’s been a decent but too-quiet weekend. I reeeeeeeeally missed the museum. It’s gonna be a long winter. :-(
I had more energy to drive than nerves to let him drive. He’s a good driver, but I’m a lousy passenger. LOL! It sprinkled on us a few times....nothing big...and it had rained here at home. The streets and grass were wet. Yay! Not a lot, but it just added to the overall.
Yes, he was practically plastered to me and purring so loud! I was glad to see him and the others, too!
I hope you have a few fun things to look forward to till the museum opens next year! Like that get-together being planned, for instance!
I’m going to finish up this show and head out. This whole week is catching up with me fast! Se ya tomorrow!
I know you aren’t all that wild about letting him drive so it worked out well having cloudy skies.
So it did rain there? Great! Every little bit helps. We’re supposed to get some rain here pretty much during the time I’ll be asleep. They say we can expect a tenth of an inch or so, so it won’t be much. We’ll take it. I just don’t look forward to the cold, windy weather Monday and Tuesday.
I figured Peaches would be all over you. LOL He went a long time without you to snuggle with.
Not much in the way of fun things to look forward to over the winter at this point. A couple of Christmas parties next month and the dinner get-together at the museum in January. Who knows what might crop up though?
Get a good, loooooong sleep. Catch ya tomorrow.
Good morning, Mayor, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Lots of things for Gizmo to enjoy on yesterday’s adventures...happy dog.
You guys have a great day today, and stay warm!
I know it’s not as scary as a Moose or a Grizzly Bear, but yesterday, Tippy and I encountered a coyote in the woods just across the street from my house.
Tippy and I made a lot of noise, and it just shrugged, looked us in the eye, and kept eating.
This morning I carried a big staff, Moses-style, for our walks.
No More Off-leash training for now!
Scary enough, especially for a companion who has no fear.
A big staff is an excellent idea!!!
Haven’t seen him today...but at least it wasn’t the South Shore Bear. (There have been sightings of him, too)
