"Dames en heren, de tijd is gekomen voor revolutie. Deportaties zullen onmiddellijk plaatsvinden, in overeenstemming met onze terugtrekking uit de EU. Deze grote natie zal niet langer op afstand bestuurd worden vanuit Brussel en New York.Deze natie zal niet langer op afstand bestuurd worden door het marxisme, noch schuldeisers uit het Oosten wegjagen die letterlijk de absolute vernietiging van de Nederlandse staat nastreven."
Immigration was the key topic of the campaign and Wilders’ hardline stance, including closing the borders and deporting illegal immigrants, struck a chord with Dutch voters.
“The Dutch hope that the people can get their country back and that we will ensure that the tsunami of asylum-seekers and immigration is reduced,” Wilders said
Holy Cow!
Is Gert Wilders one of those Dutch politicians who is so hated and feared by the Muslims, that he is not free to even walk down his own street?
I’ve heard of some in Holland and Belgium who must essentially live in a triple bolted Panic Room every day of the week, and absorb the expense of hired security.
Argentina, Netherlands, maybe we can next get Poilievre in Canada.
“Far right, anti-Islam party” is pure BS. More far left media smears of populists and nationalists who don’t buy the globalist agenda and woke culture.
Trump moved the overton window far enough to make this possible....
Having your party gain the most seats of any party in parliament is one thing....everyone else (the radical left + the lukewarm left (a.k.a center right)) now ganging up on you to make sure you will never translate that success into actual governing is the other thing.
At least it’s a start, with plenty of other European countries seeing similar sentiments from the voters.
I decided a long time ago that “right-wing” and “far right” merely means they don’t like you.
When the press doesn’t like you, that is a good sign.
Far right? Geeze...they forgot Nazi.
Start the deportation flights back to where once they came. Make the Netherlands Great Again.
Seeing the pattern?
