Terror attack fears after car explosion at Rainbow Bridge near Niagara Falls leaves two dead at US border

A bridge leading into the US from Canada has been shut down due to a car explosion, officials said.

The Rainbow Bridge — which leads into Niagara Falls — was temporarily closed after the explosion Wednesday.

The car was heading into the US, according to the city mayor’s office.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul has been briefed about the incident and is “closely monitoring the situation,” she announced on X.

They were looking for them at school board meetings, and underneath their beds.
