Funny how Argentina managed to count all 30 million of its ballots by midnight...

One thing Argentina did right during its election Sunday which saw the election of Javier Milei to the presidency was to get all its ballots counted by midnight.

That's the sort of thing we don't see in the U.S. anymore, now that election night has become election month, raising very valid suspicions among voters about fraud.

Here's a tweet illustrating just how impressive that was -- and a sad comparison to shambles seen in certain blue counties of the U.S.

Argentina: 25-30 million paper ballots

Maricopa (2020): 1.9 million ballots

Milwaukee (2020): 460k ballots

Detroit (2020): 250k ballots

Fulton (2020): 523k ballots

Explain to me how Argentina hand-counted all of their ballots in a few hours, but the big blue areas in our… — End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) November 20, 2023

And another:

Argentina uses paper ballots & cardboard ballot boxes. The surprise landslide results, a win by outsider Milei seen voting in pic, were known within 3-4 hrs & the loser had conceded.

In the US, we’d still be counting the votes a month later.

Long and extended counting periods are open doors to electoral fraud. That's true whether there is fraud or not, because the extended time window gives certain observers time to figure out how many more ballots are needed for their party or candidate to win the race, and then produce those ballots to ensure a just-over-the-line victory. In forensic accounting, as one commentator noted, when fraud is sought, one indicator of it is that the accounting system has been made as messy, complicated, and unintelligible as possible.

In fairness to the United States, fraud takes time.

Soros outraged at the concept that “hand-counting” is allowed anywhere on the planet...

How can he effectively, as usual, deliver millions of pre-fabricated ballots at 3 A.M. if the count is accomplished by midnight...

All U.S. elections are decided long after midnight...

We used to be able to, until the “counters” became more important than the voters

In other words they could have the results by the time they used to, but they wouldn’t like the results….

Any question whether America has rampant vote fraud?

How then did we manage to count everything by midnight from the time of George Washington until only recently?

And their debates gave each candidate 6 minutes of open time and direct interaction between the candidates on 5 different subjects without the moderator interrupting. The first subject was the economy.

“Argentina has a single election on each ballot, in the US there are usually many.”

Does that also apply to France and other nations that have quicker results with hand counted ballots?

No.

General elections were held in Argentina on 22 October 2023 to elect the president, vice president, members of the National Congress and the governors of most provinces. Wikipedia

Do we actually know that? Transportation and communication weren't that good in Washington's day.

They used to count at the precinct. Now they send all of the ballots to a central processing location.

So, hundreds of points of failure vs a single point of failure.

I understand the efficiency of it, but it sure does make it easier to mess with the results.

On our 2022 Ballot in El Paso County, we had multiple candidates for multiple offices, multiple confusing ballot state measures, and an amazing ONE HUNDRED SEVEN ( yes, 107) separate ballot measures for each street, curb, sidewalk etc., that was deemed (perhaps) in need of repair.. Elected officials have the idea they are not elected to make decisions, but rather to write misleadingly-written proposals on the ballot so as to avoid responsibility for not doing their jobs.

Points of failure or opportunities for fraud, go with latter sadly

The interesting thing is like the old line a conspiracy of three only works if two are dead

The 1000s of corrupt people from precincts on up is amazing, yet few talk. Imagine killing them all has not been an option

Lots of dirty people out their who put their ideology over all, and are the ones who cry DEMOCRACY the loudest while practicing stalins doesn’t matter who votes but who counts the votes…
