Sorry but would not trust that woman. Her little speech was self serving. She is trying to establish herself as the Muslim go to woman for the American media. She would like to appear on news and talk shows as the “reasonable Muslim” and try to persuade average Americans that such reason and niceness is what is the true nature and feelings of their Muslim neighbors. What does taqiya mean in Islam?

True decency is not in human nature, not since Adam sinned. Decency can be “learned” but is never true by learning. Human nature is self focused, selfish.

True decency is only of God and by God thru Jesus Christ working in a person and most times with Holy Spirit conviction of the need to be decent, want to be decent and ability to be decent, because every human would fail if left to their true human nature.
