The "internet" is today mostly a network of private interlinked servers.

Somebody should block this as in illegal 5th amendment taking of private property for public use without just compensation.

How is this legal? How did the FCC decide have the authority to make this decision?

Well then, our pathetic sickening GOPe congress will earmark for the FCC to get a $300,000,000 payout just like they gave the FIB. Opinions differ greatly but the biggest problem in this nation the last generation is the uniparty congress/senate who put us where we are today.

Good Luck enforcing it. They cannot create law. Worst case: Just host offshore, they can go pound sand.

From a Politico article in 2010, Court: FCC can’t regulate Internet

"A federal appeals court threw a major roadblock into the Federal Communications Commission’s Net neutrality plans as well as its broader National Broadband Plan, ruling that the agency lacks the authority to regulate the Internet."

All that work computer nerds did FOR FREE to build all these capabilities back in the 60s 70s etc. They did it for the benefit of mankind.

Then, giant corporations monetized it, now the government wants to nationalize it.

They will bring it all down soon I’m sure, then when it comes back up, it’ll be fully under their control.

So an unelected board of a Federal organization without a concomitant Constitutional Article to give it authority... voted itself more authority.

Isn’t that... special.

Funny, I thought that Congress was who defined the scope of FCC authority. Now I am educated that the bureaucrats decide their own limits of authority.

The Constitution, the feds ONLY valid source of authority, gives the feds NO power or right to create this regulatory state monster. NUKE IT!!!
