Senators worry spending deal puts Ukraine aid in jeopardy
The Hill ^ | 11/16/2023

Concern is rising for senators in both parties that funding for Ukraine might get left on the cutting room floor this year as Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-La.) “laddered” stopgap spending bill will keep the government open through late January, depriving the supplemental of a potential vehicle.

Lawmakers still say the Biden administration’s $105 billion supplemental request, which includes aid for Israel, Ukraine, Taiwan, the border and other items, remains a priority.

But there are serious obstacles standing between it and the finish line.

Among them is that despite the urgency of the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, there is no set deadline to provide the aid — which means that it will likely need to be attached to a must-pass bill to make it into law. Additionally, the “Never Ukraine” Republicans, particularly in the House, remain intransigent, especially as border talks falter.

When are those bass turds in da “Senate” going to man up and get their asses over there and join in the fighting? I’ll bet they all have their ROEs memorized looking for more new ones to write before American military people join in some of these wars Joe the Pedo has going around the world.

They’re more worried about Ukraine than the US, that says it all.

The House passed "Secure the Border Act of 2023" in May...under McCarthy. It went to the Senate. It includes just about everything to let us regain control of Immigration and our border.

Schumer said he won't even bring it to the floor.

There's no reason the Senate shouldn't sign it...especially if they want money for Israel.

Let's see just how stupid the Dems are.

How much aid do the idiots need? According to the far-left “media”, the only Ruzzkis left on the planet are the ones washing the mess kits.

"They’re more worried about Ukraine than the US, that says it all."

Almost. The treatment of J6ers, traditional Catholics, and parents confronting school boards, along with financing an FBI headquarters bigger than the Pentagon and kowtowing to China over the domestic population tells you who they regard as their real enemies.

This supplemental stuff is in trouble.

The optics of govt shutdown because of Dem vs GOP philosophy is something the media can manage to Dem advantage.

Much less so a govt shutdown because a faction demands billions be sent elsewhere. The public will have trouble with that.

I don’t think it can be attached to the Jan CR, and the clock is ticking on those wars.

Biden and the Democrats are OK with arming foreign countries but grabbing guns from Americans is an obsession w/ them. The same “US Congress” that gleefully tramples 2A rights, is hell-bent on supplying weapons to foreign countries.

AND THIS——Not content w/ the mega billions already in his pocket, Zelensky now says he wants US tax dollars to Ukraine “according to the Israeli model”......here’s what he means:

Congressional Research Service
US Foreign aid to Israel
60 page detailed report

https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/RL/RL33222/44

The concerned Israeli lobby made sure Congress is required by law to ensure that U.S. military aid in the Middle East region doesn’t damage Israel’s military superiority over its neighbors. That requirement enjoys broad bipartisan support and has served as a benchmark for ensuring Israel receives robust U.S. support.

Biden keeps gaslighting Americans about the “need” for
American foreign aid tax dollars to Ukraine and Israel.

Since 1973, Israel has received more than $120 billion US tax dollars in MILITARY assistance alone, including “three special US aid” packages.
<>US billions for signing the Israel-Egypt peace treaty
<>US billions for Israel’s withdrawal from the Sinai.
<>US billions for redeployment of Israeli forces
<>rebuilding Israeli air bases in the Negev cost $5 US billions.

Besides weaponry, Israel also receives”
<><> US economic and US humanitarian foreign aid,
<><>tax dollars to support Israel’s broad economic development,
<><>US tax dollars to support sociopolitical stability,
<><> and non-military support related to Israel’s pressing security needs.

Military aid and armaments from US taxpayers have blanketed Israel over the years. They have more than enough resources, now, to nail Hamas and Hezbollah. Wealthy Israel has very low debt, and actually had a budget surplus this year, while the US is $33 trillion in debt, a debt which future generations are saddled with.

An integral part of US tax dollars flowing to Israel is conditioned on their sharing w/ the the US, the crucial intel it gathers in the volatile Mideast. 9/11 was plotted in the Mideast. It tragically demonstrated, that the safety and security of US citizens, their very lives imperiled.........when we dont get Mideast intel.

Ukraine is biden’s war and biden’s debt to pay after he is LONG GONE.
He has gotten by with taking millions for himself and family... and paying the ransom with tax dollars. we are so far in debt with joe and barry at the helm... they ought to be charged and set apart.. instead they go after Trump for how much his property is worth...
What is going on in washington, will kill the good nation.. the best nation.. to below ground level.

Fortunate Son
Creedence Clearwater Revival

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
They’re red, white and blue
And when the band plays “Hail to the Chief”
They point the cannon at you, Lord
It ain’t me, it ain’t me
I ain’t no SENATOR’s son, son
It ain’t me, it ain’t me
I ain’t no fortunate one

Some folks are born, silver spoon in hand
Lord, don’t they help themselves, yeah
But when the taxman comes to the door
The house look a like a rummage sale
It ain’t me, it ain’t me
I ain’t no millionaire’s son, no, no
It ain’t me, it ain’t me
I ain’t no fortunate one

Yeah, some folks inherit star-spangled eyes
They send you down to war
And when you ask ‘em, “How much should we give?”
THEY ONLY ANSWER, “MORE, MORE, MORE”
It ain’t me, it ain’t me
I ain’t no military son, son
It ain’t me, it ain’t me
I ain’t no fortunate one, one
It ain’t me, it ain’t me
I ain’t no fortunate one
It ain’t me, it ain’t me
I ain’t no fortunate one

TO DO LIST FOR SENATE

1. pass deficit-neutral Israel aid / IRS recission bill sent over from the House

2. Combine into one bill: Ukraine aid with enhancing border security and with restoring energy production, making sure the package is deficit neutral, and send this bill to the House

What part of NO don’t they understand when it comes to the urination of my money and my children’s future debt for the sake of Ukraine?
