The Comic book industry has been slowly losing readership as a percentage of the population for a long time now since the "Dark Age" of comic began with bad imitators of Alan Moore's The Dark Knight Returns. This is just the latest example.

I don’t have the issue, but that’s my understanding. There have been x-rated comics for decades, just weren’t in the main publishers who held to the comics code from the 50s to the 70s/80s. After that it ran rampant.
That’s true. It is also about acceptance, so ya gotta do what the acceptor wants to show fealty.
