The diverse English city of Bradford has announced that for the Christmas season, it will raise a “multi-faith festive tree” in the latest assault on Christianity, or at least the cultural vestiges of it, in Britain.
The West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce’s Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Business Committee said this week that City Hall will see a “multi-faith” evergreen erected in front of it during Christmas to celebrate the multicultural nature of the city, with over a third of its population being from minority backgrounds per the latest census.

Why not just put up a Festivus Pole instead?
I’m sure they make Kwanzaa inclusive for Whites - and any/all Muslims holidays and festivals as well, right?
Ex Wisconsin Governor, ‘Diamond Jim’ Doyle (D, WI) had a Festivus Pole in our State Capitol for his terms in office.
At least he let us still have a massive Christmas Tree each year. ;)
If it’s not for Christmas, why have it now? Why not in June for summer for summer solstice? Or for Juneteenth?
Cities can do whatever the heck they want on government property, but for me and mine we will be celebrating Christ’s birth with a Christmas Tree and Christmas lights and sing our Christmas carols and thank the Lord for a roof over our heads, food on the table and His love in our hearts.
Better yet, make Ramadan a multi-faith month in the UK!

A Festivus Pole must stand alone and can’t be mixed in with other feelgood crap. The only decorations that are allowed are a piece of used wrapping paper or old newspaper. Those are carelessly placed on top of the pole like they were just set there.
The whole mess in Bradford is actually an insult to other faiths that don’t celebrate Christmas.
The only thing I know Bradford for is that terrible fire that happened during the soccer game during the 80s.
It’s easy. Start with an ordinary Christmas tree, but add a bloody head on top so that Muslims are included.
Common sense died a long time ago in Britain.
