I grew up in Massachusetts, romney was one of the worst carpetbaggers to ever hold the Governorship . Masscare (the precursor to obammy care)is to this day a massive black hole for cash and the cost never ends. I am not sure how an old yearbook photo is supposed to prove that he “knows” Romney, or how that would make his criticism of Romney hypocritical. I worked on Jim Thompson’s campaign for governor of Illinois in 1976. I met him but I didn’t know him. I voted for Romney in 2012 (but not in the primary) as the lesser of two bad choices. Going by what I read on this site, a lot of other Freepers did too. I would think that if DeSantis has had an opportunity to “know” Mitt Romney, it would have been some time after DeSantis started his own political career, but maybe not. DeSantis ended his time in Washington just as Romney began his. Anyhoo, whatever relationship DeSantis may have with Romney, I’m going to bet it didn’t start in 2002.
