Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell recently said former President Ronald Reagan would "turn over in his grave" at the current GOP's views on helping Ukraine win its war against Russia.
McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, has been a vocal supporter of Ukraine since Russia invaded the Eastern European country in February 2022. Most recently, he has shown a willingness to work with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a New York Democrat, on President Joe Biden's request of nearly $106 billion worth of aid, which includes $61.4 billion for Ukraine and $14.3 billion for Israel to support its war with Palestinian militant group Hamas following their surprise attack on October 7.

Reagan put Pershing missiles in Germany. It worked. Best thing that could have happened for Nena. She got an international hit out of it.

Uhhh...
I remember Reagan giving hell to countries that had actively attacked us....
I remember Reagan giving hell to the ussr, but they were our sworn enemy.
I don’t recall him giving away our tax dollars to some other country.
As a matter of fact, I believe he was against that sort of thing....

Reagan could have sent our troops, or weapons, into Poland. Wisely, he didn’t. Instead he actually worked with the Soviets...That is correct, and President Reagan developed that Policy and his personal Diplomacy himself, during his Presidency.
President Reagan went from a Strong and Confidant President to a Strong, Confidant and Trustworthy President and Premier International Diplomat by the end of his Presidency.

No. His biggest mistakes were his love of abortion as governor of California and his intense love for illegals during his presidency. Both have been a disaster since his approval to get both done.

"And it gives to ambitious, corrupted, or deluded citizens (who devote themselves to the favorite nation), facility to betray or sacrifice the interests of their own country, without odium, sometimes even with popularity; gilding, with the appearances of a virtuous sense of obligation, a commendable deference for public opinion, or a laudable zeal for public good, the base or foolish compliances of ambition, corruption, or infatuation."--Excerpt from George Washington's Farewell Address, emphasis added by me.
