IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari on Saturday evening said that the IDF forces are moving deeper into Gaza, and that Hamas has lost control of northern Gaza.
During the Hebrew briefing, Hagari switched to speaking in English, emphasizing that there is "no siege" on the Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
"There has been a lot of misinformation from Gaza today," he began in English. "So I want to clarify the facts. There is no siege - I repeat, there is no siege - on the Shifa Hospital."
"The east side of the hospital is open...for the safe passage of Gazans who wish to leave the hospital. We're speaking directly and regularly with the hospital staff. The staff of the Shifa Hospital has requested that tomorrow we will help the babies in the pediatric department to get to a safer hospital. We will provide the assistance needed.
"And, there's something that the world must not forget, and we will not let the world forget it: Hamas has been holding hostages, 239 men, women, children, elderly, and babies. Don't forget - babies. For 36 days. This is a crime against humanity and we will not let the world forget it."
In Hebrew, Hagari emphasized, "We are attacking terrorists around Shifa, in a focused manner. But there is safe entry and exit from the hospital. We have told the medical staff that the IDF is not attacking the hospital."
He added that there is "no shooting at the hospital."
"We spoke today with the hospital's staff, and we said clearly that the IDF is not attacking the hospital. We will continue to allow patients and medical staff to move southwards in a safe manner."

NO! to any cease fire to release hostages or prisioner exchange. Yes to putting a bounty on the ten or so Hamas leaders in foreign countries, I think each has about 5 billion dollars in their personal accounts. Thats about 50 billion dollars available for further destruction. Find a way to freeze those accounts and empty them.
