For many of Trump’s primary rivals, the case against nominating the former president was straightforward: He could not defeat President Biden in a general election, when more moderate and independent voters are needed to prevail in key battleground states.
But recent polling has dealt a blow to that argument.
Polls from The New York Times, CNN, CBS News and Emerson College have shown Trump leading Biden in a hypothetical 2024 matchup both in key swing states and at the national level.
“The electability argument is gone for others,” said one former Trump White House official.
Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R), in particular, has framed much of her campaign around electability. Since launching her run in February, she has called for a new generation of leadership, argued Trump can’t win in a general election and repeatedly pointed to polls that show her beating Biden in a hypothetical 2024 matchup.
“It’s not just about the primary. Everybody’s talking about the primary now. It’s who can beat Joe Biden, and who can beat any Democrat that goes there,” Haley said Thursday on Fox Business Network. “And you can tell from the momentum that we have, but more than that, look at the polls, we crush Joe Biden in a general election.”

People are tired of the corruption. They don’t want anyone who can be bought (like Joe).

Debate is good! It stimulates the conversation, it enriches the candidates at other political fronts. It gets voters talking at forums.
I never took polls that definitively, and I still don’t trust them. A campaign is no time to rest on your laurels and good polling should not cause a relaxed attitude nor be taken for granted.
We don’t want a return to the status quo Republicanism. We don’t want those that pretend we aren’t in a war for the heart and soul of the nation.
The key to this whole thing is Trump’s VP.
Trumps’ VP will be the presumptive frontrunner in the 2028 presidency. HE must be a non-politician fighter like Trump, totally committed to restoring our Free Constitutional Republic, immune to the attacks of the Left while delivering fatal blows himself, dismantling the 80%+ unconstitutional portion of the feds, reinstating the Constitution as written and originally understood and intended as the Supreme law of the land, and reinstating State sovereignty, encouraging states to NOT take federal funding but become independent.

Be that as it may, Trump has managed to escape the political mold ever since he announced in June, 2015.
The basic criteria defining Trump as a non-politician include:
1. He destroys political correctness with every word coming out of his mouth.
2. He does what he says he will do.
I don’t think Trump is doing as well at these Polls suggest....The Democrats may be setting up Trump voters to take away the Hope they have..

Haley really shows there is no difference between actors and politicians. When she was Trump’s UN Ambassador she talked with passion like a strong MAGA soldier and it was all act she believed none of it

If they were real, the Democrats would've have quietly compelled Biden to step out of the race by now.
