DEVELOPING STORY: Thousands of pro-Hamas rioters caused mayhem in New York City overnight. Click here for our full coverage of the riots. The protesters also destroyed an untold number of American flags — on Veterans Day. Video shows a man climbing up flag poles and ripping down Old Glory. The stars and stripes were then replaced by the Palestinian flag. NYPD officers watched as the man desecrated our flag, but they did nothing. One has to wonder if they were ordered to stand down.
