Yes, he’s done small events several times so far.
It may be that part of the reason is that was what was available and that this is a holiday for some.
I doubt it’s going to be small with the support he has in that area

My hero Rand Paul questioned his ability to win. This was within the last couple of days. Fact is we will win or lose with Trump. He could do himself a big favor by picking DeSantis as his vp-or Rand.
Bush ‘41 balanced the Reagan ticket in ‘80. Like Kamala they get stuck with the same vp 4 years later. Bush bridged the ‘moderates’ and DeSantis would be the better ‘explainer’ of Trump’s ideas. Rand could sprinkle his libertarian ideas to a younger generation who is not as leftist as it is lost.
The next Contract With America should be directed to millennial. It’s building up to be our last chance.
I believe Rand questioned the system (DS) allowing RPOTUS to win.
I also believe RPOTUS has said none of the wannabees will be chosen as his VP running mate....so, we know it won’t be Meatball.
NO MORE DS “selected” VPs!! Exactly what Reagan’s “balance” was. NO thanks!!
Rand would be most useful in the Senate....we just need to replace Glitch McConnell and the other DSers.

Trump knows there isn’t going to be an election in 2024. He’s going through the motions. If someone suggested Putin for VP Trump would say “yeh, I’d consider that.” Because Trump knows we will be in a form of temporary governance while the country gets cleaned up.
2024 is the storm. 2025 will be the cleanup.
