Drug addicts, dealers and homeless who have plagued San Francisco’s downtown have miraculously disappeared this week as the city cleans up for a huge international event.

Well, there may be an upside to this after all - pushing the homeless into "other parts of the city" will give residents first hand experience as to what they voted for.

That took a lot of social workers to clear that herd.
They might like to so much they would prefer to stay in Oakland.
The residents of these other parts of the city of course greeted the homeless with open arms and warmest greetings

“Couldn’t the city of San Francisco hire Hunter Biden to throw a 3-day party in Oakland and invite all of the homeless, drug dealers, and drug addicts?”

The night they turned San Francisco into a Potemkin village.
During the Florida Bush/Gore vote count disaster when the streets of Tallahassee were flooded with journalists a noted local figure vanished. He was a guy who dressed up as Santa and stood on street corners shouting general nonsense. But during the vote count he was shouting that Bush needed to be killed. We were discussing this guy’s sudden disappearance in the gym and a low-level Democratic party worker told us they’d simply arrested him for the duration. When I suggested that probably wasn’t legal, he shrugged, grinned and said something along the lines of, “We’ll let him go when this is over, but having him on the news every night is damaging. As for legal...,” he shrugged and grinned.
Most people don’t have the resources to hire a lawyer so the government can effectively just remove them from sight for as long as they want. As for whether it’s legal...yeah. Like that matters.
It’s just like before an Olympic Games or other such “major event” happens at any city worldwide - the streets suddenly, albeit temporarily, get “cleaned up”.

All that wasted money on homeless programs and drug rehabilitation hasn’t done a thing to help those poor souls. Typical big government solution - throw more taxpayer money at the problem with no accountability and hope it goes away. Out of sight, out of mind
