Jill Stein, who famously ran in the 2016 presidential election, announced on Thursday that she is running for president yet again with a platform that includes guaranteeing the “right” to a living-wage job, housing, food, healthcare, education “and more.”

In a video posted to social media, Stein laid out the current state of affairs, contending that “people are tired of being thrown under the bus by wealthy elites and their bought politicians.”

They are “tired of living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to pay the rent, locked in student debt and medical debt, child poverty doubling, rising diseases of despair, growing hopelessness,” she said declaring that “the political system is broken” and pointing directly to what she described as the “two wall street parties” which she said are “bought and paid for.”

The clown car of presidential candidates still looked a bit empty to me—now I know why—Jill has joined the Partee!

Remember the part where the Founders warned about political Parties? That it’d devolve into an “us vs them” shell game?

Yeah... Pepperidge Farms remembers.

I’m glad Jill Stein siphoned votes away from Hitlery and I’m glad that she unintentionally helped Donald Trump win!

Had Stein and Johnson not run, their voters would have stayed home. or split their votes evenly.

Stein did not cost Hillary the election.

Wishful thinking on their part. Political parties or “factions” as they would’ve called it are part of human nature. They designed a system (Our Constitutional system!) that winnows the number of parties\factions down to two. A government-solves-the-problem” - central government-oriented party and one much more skeptical - a “states-rights- oriented” party. It stated almost immediately with the division into “federalists vs anti-federalists” factions\parties. That divide has essentially continued and is the source of every political issue (even the Civil War!). The names of the parties don’t matter and they have even switched sides over this divide. This is why we are not Italy and 3rd, 4th parties, etc. are essentially irrelevant. They are ego satisfying for the participants.

Jill Stein is a solid Green candidate. I fully support ensuring she is on the ballot in all 50 states. Democracy requires that she be given ballot access

Don’t disagree with her but wonder about motive.

Don't disagree with her?!!?? So everyone has the "right" to be 9 years old, play video games all day, produce nothing of value, everything they want is paid for by someone else? No wonder we've got illegal alien deadbeats flooding our nation.

Jill Stein, who famously ran in the 2016 presidential election

She was the Green Party candidate who Democrats blamed for Mrs. Clinton losing Wisconsin. She had standing for recount demands and she participated in some of that back then. Each recount made Trump win by more.
