Trump says he’d consider Tucker Carlson as running mate

Former President Trump says he’d consider Tucker Carlson as a potential running mate in 2024.

“I like Tucker a lot; I guess I would,” Trump said during an appearance on “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show” this week. “I think I’d say I would, because he’s got great common sense.”

“You know, when they say that you guys are conservative, or I’m conservative — it’s not that we’re conservative, we have common sense. We want to have safe borders. We want to have a wall, because walls work,” he said.

Good Lord. If you have any interest in seeing DeSantis and Haley in a Trump administration, you haven’t been paying attention.
You might as well recommend Lizard Cheney for Secretary of Defense.

Thanks, I haven’t been paying attention and may reconsider my position.

Liz Cheney types are unacceptable for me in any future Republican administration. I’ll never support that type of crap politican, didn’t support them in the past & won’t in the future.

So was Reagan. That said, I agree

Yes, but even by the time he ran for Governor he had significant political experience as President of the Screen Actors Guild, politically attacked at the time, and his excellent . It's said Goldwater didn't even ask to see it in advance, he was so confident in Reagan's conservative views.

John Ratcliffe, or someone like him. Someone who isn’t campaigning for it and isn’t necessarily well known but has integrity and some executive experience.

I’m not going to yell at you. But why would you think for a moment that Trump would make a worthless, back biting uniparty puppet the Vice President of The United States?

I don’t think DT has dementia, he’s just thrown off the chains of discretion imo. He’s an almost 80 yo billionaire who opts to say what he thinks without fear of repercussions - Desantes is “Desanctimonious” and Haley is “Birdbrain”. He won’t win another election imo, but he doesn’t care as long as no other R gets the chance.

I think a great choice for President Trump’s VP running mate would be Rand Paul. I’d just hate to lose him from the Senate, though.

I like Rand but I think his vison is too small for today. I haven’t seen him with the fire to dismantle the 80%+ unconstitutional portion of the feds. And although I like Rand, I’d rather see an on-fire non-politician in there to take the reigns in 2028.

Lord, show us the way, in Jesus name, Amen.

Now, you’ve got me wondering...what is it you see in Gabbard?
Shes a pro-amnesty, anti-gun, democrat, who wants to pay reparations, end the electoral college, and end fossil fuels.
Not one thing on her platform that I agree with, she’d be the last person I’d want for VP.
Care to enlighten me?

Absolutely. No way Trump. No Way. Considering the crowd he was speaking to I get it. That being said. No Way. As you say. He's an actor, and a chameleon. He found a echo chamber that needed a voice, and he is currently filling that until the next grift comes along.
Christie Noem would be the choice I would like for VP.
