Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg made a surprise visit to Ukraine to meet with government leaders to discuss the county’s economic recovery, the Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
Buttigieg will discuss efforts to “return Ukraine to economic self-sufficiency,” including supporting investments in transportation infrastructure that will “return to private-sector led growth,” the department said.

He has no business being there and “negotiating” what is the House’s Business.. With Biden being a poor candidate, there are still many who want a President Buttigieg (!), and it is possible that trips as this are designed to make him look Presidential.

Why is the United States Secretary of Transportation visiting a foreign war zone?
I assume it’s because it’s the ‘hip’ thing for Lefties to do.
Or maybe he just has a crush on Z.
We live in a f***ing clown world.

Haven’t the Ukrainians suffered enough? Why was a visit from Buttigieg inflicted on them?
To: Sacajaweau
You really think we have a constitutional government? Obama tossed that overboard with his pen and phone comment.
To: ChicagoConservative27
They would be smart NOT to listen to him. Maybe if he brought them a big taxpayer check.
To: Sacajaweau
Right! I thought he was the Secretary of Transportation-oh, I get it- maybe he’s transporting money BACK to D.C.?

Biden’s Transport Secy Buttigieg met with Ukranian government
leaders to discuss the county’s economic recovery. He will discuss:
<><>efforts to “return Ukraine to economic self-sufficiency,”
<><>investments in transportation infrastructure to “return to private-sector led growth.”
This is a joke......$1 a week Buttgeig couldnt get planes to land on time
here, so now he’s an “expert” for the money-grubbing Ukrainians.
Wonder how much this is going to cost taxpayers.

And this addresses transportation in the U.S. how?
Except for bridges that connect the U.S. with Canada and Mexico, (aside from Biden’s trans-Indian Ocean railroad) I can think of no reason for a U.S. Sec’y of Transportation to have business with foreign nations. What possible American transport issues are there in Ukraine?

Picking up a check? Or untraceable cash.
They’ve taken turns going over there. I guess it’s Buttplug’s turn now.

Airlines, and none of them are flying to Ukraine now. Trade and shipping should be handled by the Commerce Dept.
