Prior to today I would’ve said just that it goes against the narrative of evil bad CIS white men and bad guns.
To keep up the BS-storm in the face of a leak? They could quash the leak by showing journalists the real manifesto, if it were different, and even if they permitted no cameras and no copies. Or, if it were real but not representative of the whole, show that.
Trying to continue the coverup even now only suggests that was leaked is real and what hasn’t yet been leaked is more hideous (and destructive to the leftist agenda).
In most cases the investigating officers DO NOT make the final decisions as to WHAT is DISCLOSED to the public.
