Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds touted Ron DeSantis’ accomplishments as governor of Florida as she endorsed him Monday — and said she believes he will be able to win the 2024 general election, while Donald Trump cannot.
“I believe he can’t win,” Reynolds said of Trump, “and I believe that Ron can.”
“And that’s a big reason I got behind him,” Reynolds told NBC News in a joint interview with DeSantis.

We all knew who Trump was Drew, going back decades.
If you’re still going to use this personality tactic on Trump, then there’s no helping you because like it or not, Trump has changed the paradigm of politics.
I mean, you got politicians cursing now and it’s acceptable, when even 10 years ago it would have destroyed a career and forced resignations.
We’re not going back to Republicans apologizing profusely and conceding gracefully anymore, sorry.

I already walked away and changed my registration after 40+ years to "no party." I did that after January 6th. I can no longer belong to a party that doesn't respect me enough to even want to try to protect my ballot from voter fraud.

All to cause the suppression of the vote for Trump in the general election, and promotion of biden’s re-election, so they can some how gloat and do a ‘I told you so, you should have voted for desantis’

Ridiculous, DeSantis is a choir boy compared to that spoiled malcontent Trump, who’s been a walking disaster since 2000. His promises like ending the war overnight and paying off the debt (he himself ran up) in four years are absurd. Trump only had a measly $100k in individual donations for all last quarter (DeSantis had $10M) because no one really believes he has a chance. He even went in court today and admitted to what he’s accused of.

I don’t hate Trump at all. I just see through all his bravado to what things really are, and it’s not a pretty picture. Most of his supporters are stuck on his runaway roller coaster and are too afraid to look down, or let go, and feel they have no choice but to hang on to the bitter end. It’s why they’re so angry all the the time. They are clearly the ones with blood pressure issues, not DeSantis supporters. Most of us have faith in a higher power, rather than just one, highly flawed man.

1) The polls are pretty clear. Practically all Desantis voters would vote for Trump but there’s some segment of Trump voters who would not reciprocate. I don’t know if it’s just to manipulate polling for Trump or they’re being honest. Some of these lunatics say they would even flip to Biden. I’ve met one such person around here.
So in light of that, if they’re going to insist upon nominating a proven loser against Biden, they can do it without my vote in the primaries or November.
2) Yes, I’m aware. And the same small slice of voters who sent Trump packing last time for personality and temperament reasons will retain Biden for the same reasons.

No they won’t. People want Biden gone. I talk to RATs and many are saying they will vote for Trump because life was better back when Trump was POTUS.

I’ve yet to meet a single one of those people. I do know some Trump-Biden voters who would vote GOP again but not Trump - RFK instead. I won’t go that far, but I’ll be writing in RD if he’s not on the ballot.
