Former President Trump knocked Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) as “disloyal” Sunday ahead of her expected endorsement of his GOP rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Trump said in a post on Truth Social that Reynolds’s decision to back DeSantis, which she is expected to announce at a rally Monday, would be the end of her career and that “MAGA” would never support her again

Right. One of the most conservative governors in America is Deep State.
What a loser move.
I’m very disappointed in President Trump. The only way he loses is if he keeps up the crybaby stuff.
None of those claims is true. Not one.
Of course he did.
And crazy people like Laura Loomer and Alex Bruesewitz.
The larger picture is the desperation of “mainstream” republicans to stop Trump and the willingness of Reynolds to be used by them. Seems the whole pot is being pushed onto the Iowa playing table. The play is to cause Trump not to meet expectations. That’s always the play in Iowa and an abiding party structure often delivers: remember who counts the votes. Will it make a difference in the long picture? No, for Trump. Yes, for Reynolds.
That would be a good choice for her. The GOPe obviously called in a favor because she is endorsing someone at 16%. Personally I think she wants to run for senate to replace Grassley, but she will never make it without MAGA. We don’t like disloyalty.
I’ll predict Reynolds and Ernst will increasingly be joined at the hip by their own choice and by MAGA. Assuming a Trump dominated party both have a limited political lifespan. The sheep and goats are being separated and the stakes are high. It’s becoming more than obvious they are both aligned against Trump. Interesting times ahead that will be more determined by events than politicians. Reading tea leaves may be the most important aspect of survival for all of us.
It’s interesting that both Reynolds and DeSantis were reelected by 19 points from their own governance records. Trump did endorse her for reelection, but he didn’t really endorse DeSantis for his second term. Chances are she would’ve been reelected with close to the same amount of votes even if he hadn’t had her at his rally. I certainly didn’t vote for DeSantis either time because of Trump’s endorsement. Endorsements aren’t particularly meaningful to voters as much as they are to other politicians and news media outlets.
Re: 72 - LOL! Sure it has. Not.
Let me know when you want me to provide the link of the letter from President Trump to AG Sessions regarding the banning of bump stocks.
Or the public statements by President Trump regarding bump stocks and them being banned.
Spin on.
President Trump was all in for Red Flag laws without adequate due process until Mick Mulvaney and Brad Parscale told him he would wreck his standing with Republicans if he did so.
The above is the distortion of the situation and what Trump actually said.
Well, okay.
And what did he actually say?
I have posted this rebuttal too many times. If you had any interest in the truth you’d have educated yourself. Trump was not suggesting red flag laws. He was saying that if there is a credible threat it needs to be investigated promptly. Most of these school shooters are known to FBI & police, school authorities. Quick action and investigation is appropriate in exigent circumstances.
Okay, you won’t post what he said.
I’ll post it tomorrow.
At least you didn’t dispute his actions taken on bump stocks.
I’m sorry I should never have responded to your post.
You over simplify & twist events to serve a narrative.
I will not make that mistake again. You can post to your heart’s content. Those who bother to check will not be fooled.
The bump stock question comes down to the definition of machine gun not whether the second amendment should be abridged.

The context for the remark about moving quickly in extingent situations is below. This remark was taken out of context by many who wanted to smear and mischaracterize but must be viewed in the context of the situation & conversation if the intent is not to deceive. With credible evidence of a mass murder plan not just rumor or here say than there must be a way to isolate the threat while evaluation & investigation takes place. It is hysterical thinking to state that that is a support of red flag laws.
We shall see. I believe you lack discernment to look at an issue objectively.
To what? What about to whom?
What about the voters?
She asked for the Trump MAGA endorsement when she ran. Now she's disloyal to the voters who voted for her because she was going to be an ally of MAGA and Trump..
Hail Mary
BTW, the Florida bump stock ban and the Florida red flag laws are still law and the DeSantis administration continues to use both.
