Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
THANK YOU
for your service!
Bible in a Year:
What great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!
The next time they met, Sherman hugged Deland and said, “My son.” Deland had never heard that from a father. He knew Sherman “was saying it from a place of ‘I’m proud. This is my son,’ ” and he was overwhelmed.
We too should be overwhelmed by the perfect love of our heavenly Father. John writes, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1). We’re as dumbfounded as Deland, who didn’t dare think someone like Sherman could be his dad. Is it really true? John insists, yes, “that is what we are!” (v. 1).
If you believe in Jesus, His Father is also your dad. You may feel orphaned, alone in the world. But the truth is, you have a Father—the only perfect One—and He’s proud to call you His child. .
Reflect & Pray
What does it mean to you that you’ve been chosen to be God’s child? Who can you show love to as a mentor?
Thank You, Father, for being my dad. Help me live as Your child.
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...a Blessed Lord’s Day and Shavua Tov to you and yours.
Are you and Tippy able to still walk to your sunrise spot? Training continuing well?
Really loud sleet in the middle of the night, and it’s supposed to start snowing after midnight tonight. IT might be here.
You and Blue still going?
Daylight Savings Time ends today, but we have been catching some nice sunrises lately. I don’t know what tomorrow will be like.
Blue made her last ride of the season to get settled in my brother’s barn for her Hibernation.
It’s always a sad ritual. (sigh)
The ride was chilly, buit not unbearable as I was dressed properly.
Howdy, Kathy.
Did you sleep in this morning or were you cursed with waking up early and not being able to go back to sleep? How many times have we both dealt with THAT curse? LOL
Integrity
This is a joke, right? After whos been weeded out and who’s left running the drag show?
Good evening, radu, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Feetsies resting? A good museum day? Do you have a date for closing for the winter?
Heavy sleet overnight, and now they say snow later tonight.
And I am sure you and your leathers were together for that last ride of the season.
Hey there, Kathy.
Feetsies are burning tonight after a busy weekend. I never sat down both days - - - and I had to wear shoes! LOL It was a bit too cool for the flip flops.
Two more weekends to go before closing and I am dreading it big time. It’s going to be a long, boring winter. :-(
Brrrrr, getting cold again up there, is it? It must have warmed up a bit during the day lately because I noticed the ice on the lake had melted in spots when I checked earlier today. It’s real foggy at the airports at the moment so I gather the temp is dropping fast. It doesn’t sound like it’ll be a pleasant night up there with sleet and snow.
Don’t send it down here, please! LOL

Keep the Lord’s Day in the Lord’s way.
A blessed Twenty-Third Sunday after Pentecost (Western)/Twenty-Second Sunday after Pentecost (Orthodox) to all!

Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
And a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Hope you’ve had a relaxing day. Stay warm!!
Shavua Tov.
Wishing all our Jewish troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
a peaceful and prosperous week.
Howdy, luvie.
Did it get as hot as they’d predicted for today or were you lucky enough to get a little break?
We made it up to around 70 yesterday and today after mornings with frost on the ground. brrrrr
