CNN host Phil Mattingly admitted Friday that his jaw "literally dropped" after hearing a young black voter admit that he doesn't know if he will vote for President Joe Biden in 2024.
CNN anchor John King recently traveled to Milwaukee where he gauged the pulse of the black community there. What he discovered, according to him, is a "giant problem" for Biden's re-election hopes.
One Milwaukee voter, Davette Bake, told King that he "love[s] Joe" but graded Biden's presidency a four on a scale of 1 to 10. Another voter, Joanna Brookes, expressed concern that the Democratic Party takes black people for granted.
"Black voters in general, I think, tend to be pretty loyal to the Democratic Party. And sometimes I wonder, just based on how that party has performed thus far for people of color, if we should continue to be," Brookes vented. And then King spoke with Devonta Johnson, a canvasser for Black Leaders Organizing for Communities.
King asked Johnson, "If you're Joe Biden and you want to be re-elected, he'd have a problem today, right?"
"Yes, he would. He would have a big problem," Johnson admitted.
As a follow-up, King asked Johnson who he will vote for: Biden or Donald Trump. "That's a — that's just a tough one," Johnson responded.
When the report concluded, King put into perspective the significance of what he learned in Milwaukee.
"Just stunning, that young man there, 'I don't know who I'm going to vote for.' A young black man in Milwaukee who is actually part of this activist community," he said. "Then you have the older black women answering the door saying, 'Yeah, people died for my right to vote, but I'm not sure I'm going to vote because I'm so disaffected and disenchanted.'"
That's when Mattingly expressed his disbelief over Johnson's brutal honesty.
"My jaw literally dropped at the end of that piece when he didn't say who he was going to vote for. A 21-year-old young black man in the activist community doesn't know," the CNN anchor said.
King answered, "Because he looks at Washington and says, 'What are they doing that's relevant to my life? Nothing.'"
Yep.
All the black mentality they interviewed is asking “what can my country do for me?” JFK even knew this wasn’t the right mimdset to have, or question to ask.
The country isn’t your parent or magical ATM machine. Yet its a solod generalization the black community is largely made up of mostly peacefuls, gimmedats, “aspiring rappers” and dindunuffins.
Oh, and welfare mamas.
Most will stay home and not vote. But that doesn’t stop ballot harvesting from them, as Dem canvasses will fill out their ballots for them.
Poor little prog propagandist. The "21-year-old young black man in the activist community" is NOT voting correctly according to the LBJ rules.
.
Minus 1 million.
Truly, a non-story and hardly stunning, when you consider that the default position of black voters (young or old) is, invariably, to vote democrat. It is, indeed, tragic that there must be some gratuity tied to the motivation to vote. It is idiotic, however, to expect Joe or Kamala to be any less mendacious if they would just come to town, and lie to your face!
Georgia sold out for $2000 a vote. Will the price go up? Inflation you know. (At least they didn’t insult the young man which is the “progressive” MO. )
Blacks will vote Democrat non matter what they say. It will be 94%+ when votes are counted. Meaningless article.
What has the Dem party done for the average Black American. Why do they continue to vote for the “bait and switch” party?
Well, obviously he is not really black.
“Look for reparations talk to be ratcheted up.”
“Rep-uh-muh-ray-shuns” for the racists, free abortions for the femiNazis, student loan cancellation for unemployable losers with some garbage major, allowing the entire Turd World to cross the Rio Grande in a northbound direction....
Why go to all this trouble to pander to the worst elements of society so that they’ll pull the “D” lever, when a little pathetically simple vote fraud accomplishes the same goal — of getting Democrats full control of the federal government and most big-state governments?
Are they losing faith in their “system”?
Isn’t there a law?
Black people MUST vote for Democrats?
I even think I heard Joe Biden quote it.
Do you think they will make the connection?
BLOC calls for a $15 minimum wage; it admits to working for Democrat candidates.
I think this is probably fool’s gold. I don’t see a whole lot on BLOC’s website where conservatives could find common ground (possibly the minimum wage might work but even that is a tough sell - BLOC calls for “decriminalizing border crossings.”)
They might be making rumblings about blacks turning to Trump then at 3 a.m. on election night that big pile of mysterious ballots appears.
Now maybe this one guy is just trying to get a paycheck and doesn’t set the organization’s policy and it is what it appears to be. I’m skeptical.
Folks, what the black vote captains are saying is that they need for biden to sweeten the pot for them to fix the vote again. You’ll notice that the responders are all women.
It’s a negotiation. The blacks will fix the vote once they get all they can out of the rats.
He knows enough to pretend he does not know. He knows what the response to the truthful answer would be.
Better get Sambo and his cat-o-nine tails for a flogging. How many lashes does an uppity black get for challenging the Democrat party plantation?
They say this every time. And vote 90% Democrat, every time. And those are actual votes. The rest of the votes come in at 100% Democrat.
It doesn’t matter. China will print a couple of million ballots marked for Biden only and the USPS will deliver them promptly.
