Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said Friday that his powerful militia is already engaged in unprecedent cross-border fighting with Israel along the Lebanon-Israel border and threatened a further escalation as the four-week-long Israel-Hamas war rages on.
In televised remarks — Nasrallah’s first since the beginning of the war sparked by the Palestinian militants’ deadly Oct. 7 incursion into southern Israel — he stopped short of announcing his Lebanese militia would fully enter the conflict.
Nasrallah also said that Hezbollah, an ally of Gaza’s militant Hamas rulers, is not deterred by U.S. warnings to stay out of the latest war. Referring to U.S. military deployment in the region, he said American warships in the Mediterranean Sea “will not scare us.”

The Mushroom Head stopped short of actually declaring war against Israel. The vast majority of Lebanese (80%) do not want another devestating war, although they might get one.
looks like he blinked! I expected him to go all in. I don’t think he folded he may try a sneak attack but there are some fifty warships from 11 nations in the mediterranean an red sea area. that plus Israel is kind of a strong message against him walking into annihilation.

So how much escalation will classify Hezbollah entering the war?....Hezbollah has been firing missiles and anti tank missiles at Israel since Oct 8th.....am I missing something here?
Bring the RATS out of their holes. I would bring out old B52 bombers and make the southern part of Lebanon look like the surface of the moon.

Reading between the lines, he said Hamas is on their own. He distanced Hezbollah and Iran from Hamas’ attack, and made no promise to fully commit his army. Just more complaining and threats.
This was supposed to be a huge speech with some major announcement with global importance. Something changed.
