U.S. Amb. to Ukraine: It’s in Our Interest to Push Russia to ’91 Borders, Dodges on if Aid Request Will Do That

On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink stated that pushing Russia back to its 1991 borders is in America’s strategic interests and is “an existential question for Ukraine,” but dodged on if the money President Joe Biden is asking for for Ukraine will be enough to achieve that goal.

Co-host Dana Perino asked, “Is what the President’s asking for for Ukraine, is that enough to help Ukraine finish the job, meaning pushing back Putin’s troops permanently?”

Brink responded, “Dana, thanks so much for having me. I would just say that I completely agree with the President, our administration and I’m on the ground watching what’s happening and supporting Ukraine together with my team. Helping Ukraine push Russia out and push Russia back to the 1991 borders is an existential question for Ukraine, but it’s in [the] U.S.’s strategic interest that we help them do that. And we are there on the ground fighting with Ukraine to help support this effort, but without boots on the ground. We are doing it through provision of military assistance, that’s security assistance, not money, but actually arms and weapons to help the Ukrainians fight

Ukraine can’t even take anything but a paltry few square miles and hold it.

This is a war of attrition. Ukraine obliges by sending more and more poor souls into the meat grinder for a “freedom” they will never have no matter who “wins” it.

Why didn’t Obama call for that when Putin annexed The Crimea on his watch?

Yellen looked over her shoulder at the hangman who was
inspecting the rope for frayed strands. “You’ll die too,”
she told him. She told Admiral Crandall, “I won’t say his
name, but you know who he is and it doesn’t matter to you
because he is untouchable. When the United States
and Ukraine are merged and become the United States of
Ukraine, he will reveal himself.”

Call a cease fire. Put in a border just like we did in Korea. Ukraine has gained absolutely nothing since this “civil war” started.

“91 borders??? They want a never ending proxy war...”

The Neocons only take Crimea after the Russians are out of nukes, that’s been made quite clear. So I’m not sure it’s worth the effort.

Odd that Brink, the US Amb to Ukraine, NEVER mentioned US tax dollars paying for
<><>Ukraine pensions,
<><>govt workers’ salaries,
<><>buying seeds for farmers
<><>financing finding markets for small businesses
<><>and so on, and so forth, ad infinitum, ad nauseaum.

You make a good and interesting point. One that those knuckleheads in DC let fly right over their heads because they always claim they ar right about everything. It is okay when we do it. Not okay when they do it as a response.

On Halloween, Blinken dressed his young daughter in a Ukraine Flag, and his young son as Zelensky.

That’s a special kind of obsession and psychopathy.

The message to Russia is - prepare for a long war with the US Deep state.

Russia will use nukes before giving up that land, so the price will be rather high.

These grifters don’t care about borders from any year other than them being a means to feed their kleptocracy. The oligarchs and leaders are globalists that do no care about the average everyday Ukrainian. They certainly don’t care about those that live in the Donbas. I’m essence they have pitted Ukrainian against Ukrainian (those in the Donbas) and begged the world for money, some of which enriches oligarchs and leaders. They all have their exits planned to lavish properties around the world. All they want to do is increase the grift so they are even more well off.

Defeat is inevitable. Victory for the oligarchs is inevitable. They will keep going until the very last Ukrainian life. They really don’t care.

No, it's the best interest of corrupt politicians, their donors, the defense industry, Soros Inc., the WEF and BlackRock to push for that objective.

There is no scenario where Ukraine gains back an inch of territory.

“”””And Russia think its in there interest to Push NATO and the west back to ’91 Borders too”””””

NATO isn’t a country with a border and it isn’t conquering anything or any country or taking any lands and ports and absorbing populations into its own, it is merely countries banding together to protect themselves from the country that is and that does do that and which wants to do it to them.

Russia expands its borders through war, in Europe, in this modern day and age, Sweden and Finland, Estonia, and Poland, aren’t trying to expand into anything, they just want to keep the Russian empire building from taking them in invasions, they still have and only want their own personal nation’s border.
