A review of the studies done so far has concluded that wearing masks really does help prevent the spread of covid-19. It is far from the first paper to come to this finding, so why does the issue remain so controversial? The problem is that it isn’t easy to carry out individual studies of the highest standard during a pandemic.
That standard is a randomised controlled trial (RCT), in which people are randomly assigned to either get a treatment or intervention, in this case wearing a mask, or not. Because of the practical difficulties, only two RCTs have looked at whether wearing masks prevents the spread of covid-19 outside of healthcare settings.
One, in Denmark, was too small to produce a statistically significant result. The other, in Bangladesh, found that in villages randomly chosen to be supplied with masks, 35 per cent fewer people aged more than 60 years old and 10 per cent fewer people overall got symptomatic infections, compared with villages that weren’t supplied with masks.

They speak of "evolving information" but the size of the virus remains unchanged, as do the size of the holes in the mask.

We KNOW from the reporting on a multitude of studies that MASKS DON’T WORK!

That Bangladeshi study has been thoroughly debunked.
Lots of other studies suggest masks make no difference for respiratory illness spread.
And excess death data makes pretty clear that there was never a spreading “Covid” virus, unless in a few targeted areas for a few weeks in early 2020, to go along with lots of killer protocols introduced at that time which could also explain the bump in illness and death (e.g., NYC stopping resuscitation for all heart attack calls).

10% effective? That could easily be applied to other immune factors.
Not according to numerous studies 15-20 years ago - masks in a hospital setting, used by professionals, couldn’t ward off influenza. Critical thinking skills and knowledge would indicate the statement is laughable.
And all those research facilities could save many, many millions just using masks instead of positive pressure suits and sterilization equipment for their staff studying viruses. Better let them know!

Something I have never had, despite not being masked or vaccinated.
I have great faith in any medical study that comes out of Bangladesh. Because that place is well-known for having rigorous controls when it comes to personal hygiene.

What should be studied are the respiratory problems from excessive mask wearing.
If Masky McMaskerson wants to strap a bacteria-laden piece of cloth over his or her breathing holes, have at it.
