Semi-auto rifles have been around since WW1. With ANY semi-auto rifle, you pull the trigger, it shoots and then automatically reloads the chamber. I.e., a 1914 or 2023 semi-auto shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger. AR’s are no different than their predecessors in this regard. ARs do have a distinctive and aggressive ‘look’, which makes them evil. /s
