"The Israeli military said it was checking reports of strikes in that area."
The MSN.com photo of the alleged damage is a 100 yard X 100 yard crater with no building debris in it, surrounded by badly damaged multi-story buildings.
There is no link to the photo, so I assume copyright issues.
Almost every statement in this article implies - without proof - that Israel is responsible.
To my eye, it looks like a massive explosion of stock piled high explosive weapons.
In a former tunnel..
“Mass Casualties”
Excellent news. Enjoy the male virgins, Hamas.
100 yard by 100 yard(or meter) crater is a Big One.
It may suggest a penetrator, rather than a simple
surface blast.
Its where a senior Hamas member and many others were hiding out, now they are sand, good riddance
Another Hamas massacre.
they had over a week to evacuate
they wanted to be martyrs
they got their wish
You shouldn’t live in or around your weapon storage depot is the moral of this story.
I guess Hamass ran out of hospitals and mosques to store their weapons under. A city apartment is the next best thing for propaganda purposes. The more cities deD, the greater the propaganda effect.
There no “innocents” in Gaza.
“Feared”?
That makes sense, and would constitute a perfectly legitimate target of war.

cool!
Pathetic hamas surrogates didn't want to watch the interrogation video of the hamas terrorist admitting that the tunnels are under the hospitals.
Shin Bet interrogation of Hamas terrorists who invaded on October 7
A great start.
Now do that to the rest of Gaza.
Jabalia is a Hamas military base. Of course it needs to be eradicated.
Don’t stop there.
The “feel good” story of the day.
No photos at the MSN link. Your assessment sounds correct. I would add - probably cooked off by an Israeli bunker buster strike.
Gaza City is a kill zone now. Anyone still there must be presumed to be part of hostile forces and targeted on sight.
It's not like the residents were left without warning. The tragic part is that residents may have no place to go, and HAMAS is not allowing them to leave even if they do have a place to go. They will die in the ensuing conflict.
But HAMAS is Gaza. Gaza is HAMAS. HAMAS has ruled Gaza with overwhelming support from the residents for the last 16 years. War is the only thing that can change that.
"If you kill enough of them, they stop fighting" (General Curtis LeMay)
LeMay was correct in that statement.
