Trump doesn’t have chance to get a fair trial in DC. His conviction will be appealed. The judge has made serious mistakes already. This case will go on forever. It is likely that Trump will get reelected and pardon himself.

I do not think it is far fetched to believe that Trump could be elected President sitting in a jail cell.
There is a historical basis for this.
