The man suspected in Wednesday's massacre that killed 18 people in Lewiston, Maine, has been found dead, sources told the NBC10 Boston Investigators Friday night.
Robert Card was the subject of a dayslong manhunt that followed mass shootings at the Just-In-Time Recreation bowling alley and Schemengees Bar and Grille.
The update comes after days of angst as an armed and dangerous man was unaccounted for after 18 people were killed and 13 injured.

It was a mentally retarded facility not necessarily for mentally ill. But it was early 70s and things snowballed. Willowbrook.
Many of the victims were members of a deaf corn-hole club, so the ASL person was pretty vital, I’m sure many of their deaf friends were watching.
I hope they pay dearly through wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits.

we have no long term facillities.
itis harder to commit someone for longer periods because of our rights to not be committed without strict legal rules. familes have the right to have someone committed for evaluation in a psychiatric hospital. they can fill out forms that go to a judge. patient is held until their insurance runs out...then there are no govt facillities for the patient to go to cause taxpayers will not pay for that.
That sounds about right. I hope more information comes out as to he believes was hurting him to this point.

She may be enthusiastic, but what I believe you are referencing is not necessarily the product of ‘enthusiasm’ - it’s the way deaf people communicate.
ASL isn’t a real language, and powerful facial expressions come naturally with it, to clarify and emphasize meaning. Even deaf people who don’t use sign language seem to have very expressive faces and gestures - it helps them to be understood, as with many their speech isn’t always clear. Hearing people who communicate with the deaf do the same thing, so that they are understood as well.
This isn’t often the same with people who went deaf late in life, but generally true of those who were deaf from birth, or who are trained in communicating with the deaf.
