MSNBC host Joe Scarborough has let his thoughts on the new Speaker of the House be known.
“Donald Trump has his guy,” Scarborough, a frequent critic of Trump and former House member said in a clip posted Friday. “He has the anti-democracy guy sitting in the Speaker’s chair.”
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) was elected to the position Wednesday after weeks of turmoil in a Speaker-less House. Johnson was the architect of his conference’s legal strategy challenging current President Biden’s win in the 2020 election.

I heard the last half of Hannity’s interview of our new Speaker last night, and for the first time in a long time I really felt good about a politician. He is exactly the one we need.
And the way it came about leads me to give thanks to only one entity - Almighty God. With the current make-up of our government, only He could make it happen, and He did! Thank you!!!
