Tech billionaire Elon Musk warned of the possibility of World War III, saying a third global war could spark from either the conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip or Russia's continuing assault on Ukraine.
"We need to figure out peace in Ukraine, and I think we need to restore normal relations with Russia," Musk said Monday during a talk on his social media platform X.
"World War III is a civilizational risk that we may not recover from," he said, "so we need to prioritize avoiding World War III; that's what actually matters. And not what happened in World War I and have a regional conflict rapidly become a global conflict."

I think we might be past the “slowly at first” phase.
I believe that as soon as the tanks roll, the missiles will fly.
The term after that will be “exponential.”
The thing about being in a knife fight is you cannot be afraid of being stabbed. Once you accept that you will be cut, it makes winning the fight easier.
The next probable step up will be if another Islamist entity gets directly involved.
You are correct, the Swamp and FBI played the same parts then that the are playing in Ukraine now.
And Prog San Franciscans hate ‘em all.
True.
Not like any Producers, Workers or Taxpayers.

“We need to figure out peace in Ukraine, and I think we need to restore normal relations with Russia,” Musk said Monday
That will get him on the Zeeper hit list.
Pretty sure Musk is interested in the continued funding of Muskraine.
“What is left unsaid is: “we need to prioritize it AT WHAT COST?” What are we willing to surrender, to give up, to sacrifice in order to avoid “WW3”? Because we will certainly be asked to surrender, give up, or sacrifice something.”
The answer to what we would be giving up Israel and Ukraine to avoid WW3. So YES, let’s avoid WW3.
We all know who didn’t.
Perfect response, thank you.
(Not everyone will get it, of course.)
musk said it months ago.
We said it first.
Does anyone today have enough war material to fight any kind of big or protracted fight?
Any modern conflict will require rapid adaptation to new technologies and their rapid weaponization.
Likely any large inventory will not be the weapons needed at this moment, and to use that inventory it will have to be adapted.
Once adapted, it will be useful for awhile until the other guys find a weakness and adapt their inventory to exploit it.
Every part of the Battle Plan, including resupply, goes perfectly until the initial contact with the enemy.
There is also the problem of whether avoidance of a small risk now leads to certainty in the future.
