On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In,” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated that while a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is a bad idea, “what Secretary Blinken said today at the United Nations, calling for a humanitarian pause in the military action so that we can try to find a more peaceful path, and especially right away, to get more hostages freed,” is the right way to go.

We fought a "humanitarian" style war in Afghanistan of "feeding the poor" and "changing hearts and minds". All that did was make it last longer, kill more people, and achieve no tangible results.
The kind of war Israel finds itself in is what Augustine of Hippo referred to as a "just war". If you're in that kind of war, the most humane way to handle it is to kill as many of the enemy as it takes as quickly as you can to force the enemy to surrender and teach everyone in Gaza and other goat-humpin', pedo practicin', infidel killin' Muslim paying attention to never, ever, ever, ever, ever attack again.

1. With fair warning, the IDF bombs, levels to the ground and destroys every living thing within a defined small area in Gaza.
2. To Hamas:”Release the hostages and stop the terrorist actions? Yes? No?”

Hamas definitely made the right move in taking hostages - they knew it would provide a comfortable block against an immediate Israeli ground invasion. Thanks to people like Blinken and Pelosi, we can look forward to lots more Americans being taken hostage.
