Gavin Newsom was granted a surprise audience with China's leader Xi Jinping when he visited Beijing on Wednesday after being warmly welcomed by other senior leaders of the Chinese Communist Party.
Newsom, the Democratic California governor, said his meeting with Xi had been 'remarkably positive'.
The 45-minute meeting took place in the palatial Great Hall of the People.
U.S. media were physically blocked from Newsom's meeting with Xi, while Chinese journalists were allowed in, the San Francisco Chronicle reported
Biden and Xi are expected to meet at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in San Francisco in November

I’ve lost hope for the American people. People that can elect the likes of creepy, demented Joe Biden, and brain dead Fetterman, will salivate at the prospect of voting for a golden boy.
If he gets in there will be a ban on all internal combustion engines in the near future nationwide and he will implement a nationwide law prohibiting independent contractors (I.e., you can’t sub out, you must hire all subs as employees).
Yep the Dems already know Biden is done for and must be replaced, and they apparently think Newsom is their best shot. They will of course resort to stealing another election if it comes to that. I’m not sure this country will survive Biden let alone 4 years of Newsom. If they somehow manage to get Newsom in there I will take that as my clue that it’s time to leave the US and retire elsewhere. I just can’t believe what has become of this country, it’s like a bad dream come to life.

I had thought Xi was bigger than this, but I see him now listed at 5’9”.
