I always wondered about where the US is in Bible prophecy, but now realize that the US (our Republic) will be destroyed economically, infiltrated, attacked from within, and so weakened that it will not be involved in the conflict.
After all Bible prophecy concerns itself with the primary actors involved in conflicts in and around the Middle East, and those from outside that attack Israel.
Biden dictates a “proportional response” by Israel. What is a “proportional response” to kidnapping, beheadings, burning people alive, and slaughtering civilians in their beds?
All we can do is pray, knowing full well the eventual outcome.
What Israel wants is the same thing the US wanted in Vietnam, Iraq x 2 and Afghanistan - to say the war is over without bearing the burden of winning it.
The US can always declare victory and go home, sending waves of refugees over the oceans while many of the people who believed in us meet their fates.
Israel has no home to go to.
But they still have to defeat their enemies. “UN resolutions”, “right to exist”, “Rules based international order”, “the West” and all that other imaginary nonsense is a dodge to avoid doing what they must - if they are able.
It seems to me, after 75 years, if they could win they would have done so. So, it is necessary to confront the possibiity that the reason their enemies are not yet defeated is that Israel can’t defeat them - and therefore probably won’t see 2048.
