I did, in the Navy in 1990.
or had ever done any real hunting
I do. Deer hunting. Elk hunting. Black bear hunting.
you’d know what it is. It’s a 30-caliber rifle cartridge, kid;
Nope. I guess our vernacular is different here in the Northwoods in Wisconsin.
But, it’s a cartridge that apparently was way before your time
What are you, 200 years old? Look, nobody on here is a kid. We're all grown adults here, so stop using this debate technique to make up for your inability to debate intelligently.
Sad.
I doubt seriously you ever did any deer or elk or black bear hunting anywhere and not know what a .30-06 is.
You say you served in the Navy in 1990. That suggests you served less than a full term of service, as it is only one year. Why were you separated from the Navy within a year?
And, no; I’m not 200 years old: I’m only in my 70s. And I call you “kid” because you argue as one; and, to me, you are indeed a kid. I don’t get the vapors when I’m called “gramps,” or when someone makes references to nursing homes, or incontinence, or pudding cups, or catheters, or anything else associated with aging that some FReepers routinely trot out; rather, I am amused by it. You see, kid, that’s the difference between an adult and someone who gets the fantods when he is called a kid.
