I hope Nationwide announces at least DOUBLE that percentage.
That company is definitely NOT “on your side”.
In addition to news of the layoffs, the letter also informed remote and hybrid employees that Geico will be requiring workers to increase their number of “in-office days.”
I had been with them for quite a while for car insurance. No accidents and no tickets for the entire time. Last July they told me my premium was going up about 40%. I dumped them.
I hope I’m not jinxing myself. But I’ve been with Erie Insurance for decades, and I don’t have a single complaint about them. So maybe they’re worth a look.
recession(?)
That annoying lizard with the faux cockney accent will have to move back on the boulevard again, hopefully under the same rock where they found him.
Getting rid of that green lizard and going with a tranny should help their bottom line.
If they would cut their ads by 50%, they could afford to keep more people.
Hopefully their marketing department is part of the layoffs.
Probably using more AI to replace low level claims adjusters or customer service.
That okay. According to Jo Jo’s Labor boyz there are so many jobs out there that everybody can have two or three.
No surprise; their prices got very high. I was with them for over 20 years and had to quit due to high premiums.
Maybe the Geico Gecko can get a job Hawking insect base meat?
Most of the insurance companies seem to be competing to see who can make the most moronic commercials. They’re not funny. They’re not clever. They don’t inspire confidence in the company.
More automation.
Claims are often handled with a few pictures from your phone, and the adjuster could be a thousand miles away. Billing is done automatically, payments automatically, and people just sign up on line, rather then using agents. Customer service is more AI, phone tree and offshore.
We just got a bill for our new rate with Progressive. $600 more a year. No tickets, not accidents, and we are in our 60s.
Looking for other but they are all pretty high now. Maybe we are paying for weather and fire events around America, and all the vehicle breakins in KKKalifornia.
They tried increasing my premium by 50%. Dropped them after 25 years. Never made one claim.
My business insurance and car insurance has gone up a lot in the last two years. Perhaps Biden - but my insurance agent (since 1996) said that it is also “claim inflation”. Over the course of his previous 30 years of work he said he had had something like 6 claims over $1 million. Deaths of high-income earners.
He said in the last few years $1 million claims have included a businessman that had both legs broken in a car wreck. He healed up but the pain limited his ability on sales calls or whatever! And other similar injuries.
My business insurance doubled. He shopped all over for the best rates too. Perhaps obamacare didn’t kill off enough small businesses, so now they are using liability insurance to put us out of business.
Back in the day this was the first company to start pushing all the gay stuff.
